Getting There

The main international airport is Norman Manley in Kingston, which connects via an easily arranged twenty-minute private flight over the Blue Mountains and along the contour of the coastline – a memorable experience in itself – to a local airstrip known as Ken Jones.

There are plans for the Ken Jones Aerodrome to be upgraded in its facilities and have the increased technical requirements to receive night flights. There are also plans for local air carriers to resume scheduled services to Ken Jones Aerodrome.

The Geejam Collection is a two-hour drive from Kingston, or a three and a half-hour drive from Montego Bay.

A thirty-minute transfer via helicopter from Kingston’s Norman Manley International Airport can be arranged to the Geejam Collection. Air transfers are currently subject to availability, weather conditions and daylight hours. Plane and helicopter transfers can also be arranged from Montego Bay.
